Autumn is the season of letting go. Leaves are falling down like pieces into place, the wasps, hornets and other uninvited guests are leaving my garden, and the wind picks up and blow away what is no longer needed.

After a summer of abundance, it is time to celebrate and thank all of you who made the choice to shop small and, to encourage the work of artisans at various farmer’s markets throughout the summer. I am grateful I encountered so many remarkable people.
